Day on the Land: Condor Conservation

Come join us for a great day at the Vermilion Cliffs, learning about conservation in northern Arizona with Chris Parish from the Peregrine Fund and his team. We'll visit the condor center to observe the largest North American bird, see some of the most beautiful scenery our great state, and experience what it's like to work in the field as a conservation biologist.

This field trip is free of charge, but participants are responsible for bringing their own food and supplies. Please be prepared for any weather. All participants should bring:

  • food (snacks & lunch)
  • plenty of water (3 liters)
  • jacket
  • raincoat
  • sunscreen
  • hat
  • sturdy shoes/boots *good for walking in the sand*
  • camera

We will leave Flagstaff at around 7:00am and return around 7:00pm. We will carpool from the large public parking lot on W. Phoenix Ave & S. Mikes Pike Street. Please comment below if you would like to drive. All passengers should bring money to compensate their driver!
