Our Annual Campout Under the Stars is one of our biggest events of the year, which brings in both the greatest audience and amount of support for our organization.
This year's educational component will be about the history of the ranches that participate in Diablo Trust, through touring a set of historic corrals on a remote part of the Flying M Ranch. In the past we've had nature hikes, forage monitoring, and archaeological presentations.
The dinner on Saturday is always a potluck, complete with burgers over an open fire (made from local, grassfed beef). Sunday's breakfast is usually sausage and biscuits, cooked 'cowboy style' in a dutch oven, with cowboy coffee.
We'll also have a silent auction, featuring multiple local and state organizations.
