  • 0800:

Bring a lunch and plenty of water. Wear warm clothes, sturdy shoes, and a hat.

Due to the uncertainty of the weather and the potential for wet soil conditions that will prohibit vehicular travel, cancellation and rescheduling of the monitoring is possible.

Please note that since the Covid-19 pandemic is ongoing we cannot offer carpooling to, from or during the monitoring field day.

The Forage Resource Study Group was one of the first monitoring group formed in the early 1990s to study the impact and presence of antelope, elk, and other wildlife on the ranches. It’s changed a little bit since its inception, but the data is fairly consistent and is still used to promote a balance in managing for wildlife and livestock. It’d be great to have you out on one of the field days!
