We got BLOWN AWAY at the Sportsman & Recreation Day on the Land!
Those 50+mph winds really made it tough to do everything we wanted to do in April!
Because we had such CRAZY winds last Day on the Land (April 23), we're having our June Monthly Meeting on the Flying M! Join us for a calmer day on the ranch, visiting the field sites we missed last time and having a more open discussion time.
We'll start by visiting the grassland projects, the first (and only) location we managed to get to on Sportsman & Recreation Day on the Land. Then we'll head on over to a prairie dog town, an FRSG monitoring cage, and - time allowing - even get some work done at a water tank repairing and removing fence!
This won't be as formal as the Sportsman & Recreation Day on the Land, but rather a casual day of discussion and experiential education.
Please bring your own lunch and water! Wear sturdy, comfortable shoes, comfortable clothes, and a hat.
