From 5-5:30, Learn about local opportunities to volunteer, intern, and work with organizations dedicated to social, environmental, and economic sustainability at the Local Opportunity Expo with Big Brothers Big Sisters, Arizona Conservation Corps, Youth in Action AmeriCorps, Grand Canyon Wolf Recovery, and more!
From 5:30-8 meet with 30 professionals working in sustainability as film makers, activists, professors, grant writers, conservation biologists, rangers, environmental educators, chemists, sustainability consultants and more, while participating in small conversation circles organized around various sectors and types of sustainability. Participants include leaders at The Nature Conservancy, Sierra Club, Diablo Trust, The Arboretum, Grand Canyon National Park, The Universidad de Alcala in Spain, and many more!
